Why did we start Mirador Health?
Mirador Health was founded on three main beliefs:
1) That every single person deserves to receive affordable medical care without having to work their lives away to pay off any medical debt.
2) That every single person has the power to determine the outcome of their health.
3) That every single person has the right to lead a healthy and happy life.
Based on the above beliefs, Mirador Health was founded to empower people to be thriving, healthy, and happy members of society, because life is too precious to be enslaved by preventable chronic diseases and medical bills.
What do we do to make this world a healthier and happier place?
Mirador Health provides affordable care to the uninsured and chronic disease prevention.
There are many reasons why someone might be uninsured. Maybe they cannot afford medical insurance or they have pre-existing conditions, which most, if not all, insurance companies do not insure. This is where we come in to fill the gaps and make sure the uninsured are able to afford medical treatment and prescriptions in an adverse event.
Similarly, there are also many reasons why people are not living a healthy lifestyle. It could be due to affordability, the environment and community that they live in, the work that they do, or they are clueless of how to be healthy. Mirador Health solves that by educating and providing incentives to nudge them into adopting healthy habits.
